Welcome to a new year and to our new Mass times, which begin this weekend (5th January) at 10am & 4.30pm. If you are new to the parish, you are very welcome! This website and our regular parish notice sheet contains information of Mass and service times, as well as news and events happening in the weeks ahead.
What to Expect
With all of the Mass times changing, we’ll be getting used to new routines and to new faces. Masses may retain some elements of worship you’re used to, with others being different. You may even notice other regular events at St Gregory’s to make use of the opportunities the new pattern of worship gives us.
Refreshments after 10am Sunday Mass
Although an hour later, everyone is still welcome for teas, coffees, light refreshments and good conversation in the Guild Room each Sunday!
Music at Morning Masses
The first and third Sundays of the month will be 4 hymns plus a Mass setting with guitars and percussion. The second Sunday will be 3 hymns and no Mass setting. The final Sunday of the month will be a chanted Mass with a Mass setting and some hymns. If there is a five week month then the fourth Sunday will also be 3 hymns and no Mass setting.
